Current Funding Priorities

We are currently seeking funds for several initiatives:

Building Rescue Boats in the Philippines. The community of Banaba uses these boats whenever the floods come. You could fund a small boat for €589 (£500, $755) or a larger boat for €2,592 (£2,200, $3,323).

Building Flood Defences in the Philippines. In Banaba, the question isn’t if the next flood will come – it’s when. Their flood defence work prevents their homes and roads from being washed away. For just €120 (£98, $160) you could fund 12 feet of life-saving reinforcement.

Haitian Scholarship Programme: Our Scholarship Programme provides a primary school education for 10 children in Port au Prince, Haiti. It costs just €24 (£18, $30) a month to keep a child in school so your event will go a long way!

The English in Mind Institute in Port au Prince: Our locally led classes are providing essential English language skills to 150 students. Those students are using their new language skills to find employment and a road out of poverty. Raise €226 (£184, $300) and you could pay the salary of a teacher like Lynda for a month.

Please note that unless you contact us to let us know how you would like your donation spent, we will use the money you raise on whichever of these projects most needs funding at the time you pay in.
