European Disaster Volunteers

This holiday season, we hope you’ll Give the Gift of Education. Our scholarship programme already includes 50 children who are getting the education they’ll need to build a better tomorrow. With your support, we hope to include 100 kids. Meet a few of the children.

Education is a life-long process, but adults in Haiti have little access to skills training, leaving them with few options to improve their lives and support their families.

We’re addressing this need by holding free English classes. English is a key vocational skill in Haiti, and, as the students will tell you, speaking English changes lives. We currently have 120 students, and there are more than 150 on the waiting list. Hear from the students.

Please help us provide a primary school education for 100 children in Port au Prince and English language skills to hundreds of adults. All donations made through this page between now and January 1st 2012 will go toward education in Haiti.

Changing lives doesn’t have to cost a fortune this Holiday season. For example:
