Changing the lives of survivors and volunteers worldwide
Global DIRT
We’re very excited that we’ll be working with Global DIRT to ensure that our health education programme can continue to grow.
While our work focuses on teaching those most at risk about how to stay healthy rather than health care, we do also provide treatment to the orphans in the programme as needed. As EDV is not a medical charity, we have limited capacity for medical transports and handling emergencies. That’s where Global DIRT comes in.
Global Disaster Immediate Response Team (Global DIRT) is a humanitarian relief organisation registered in New Hampshire, USA. Global DIRT’s mission is to provide high quality emergency medical care and patient transport via a large pool of volunteer medical staff from the US, Canada and Europe.
All of Global DIRT’s volunteers are experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Paramedics, Doctors, and Nurses with current certifications in their respective countries. Global DIRT is a registered Non-Profit Corporation, ID 631115.
Global DIRT will be supporting the health education programme by providing as needed medical transport and the support of their staff, allowing EDV to continue to support the orphanages and schools where we work.
Working with Global DIRT, we can more effectively deliver education and care to those who need it most.
