Responding to Future Disasters
In Haiti, we directly affected more than 3,000 disaster survivors in just 18 months. Today, we're contributing to Haitian resiliency by supporting hundreds of students with our Scholarship, English and orphan support programmes while also preparing to respond to disasters worldwide in 2012 and 2013.
Our on-going work in Haiti reflects our commitment to long-term disaster recovery. At EDV, we don’t just provide aid - we work with disaster affected communities to help them become less vulnerable and more self-sufficient in the long-term. To learn more about EDV please click here.
We’re ready to help thousands more disaster survivors in 2012, but we can’t do it without you. We need £15,000 for initial project investments, £11,000 to set up our base, and £10,000 to cover our initial logistical costs.
