Week 4: Community Garden Meeting
After several weeks of discussing a community garden, we took our first concrete steps toward starting a nursery in this final planning meeting.
Interested students toured the possible site for the future garden and discussed how the seedlings that could be grown here could be used to start multiple smaller gardens in different parts of the community.
The students then organised a committee of six who will be primarily responsible for the garden’s care and upkeep.
We’re looking forward to the development of this long-term project in the coming weeks and months. We’ll post updates here – so watch this space!
