Run an Event
Fundraising Events take all shapes. Supporters of EDV have had barbeques, concerts, parties, and have run marathons. Many of these efforts have been combined with JustGiving to take advantage of GiftAid, but others just took cash in hand donations.
To date, events have raised more than 2,000 EU for our operations. If you’re thinking about an event but you’re stuck on an idea, our Event Pack has resources and ideas you can use to get an event organised.
Checking out a few past and on-going events which were listed in JustGiving in the next section is another good way to find inspiration.
JustGiving
You can create your own fundraising page on JustGiving . Get sponsored to run a marathon, conquer a fear, or create a page in memory of a loved one.
Some JustGiving pages are very simple, others showcase a grand undertaking, a bit of silliness, or celebrate the life of someone who has passed.
Whatever your fundraising event, JustGiving can help you add an extra 25% and 28% to your donation through gift aid, making it a great choice for any initiative.
Spread the Word
